Two jobs for one URL
A link list (Linktree, Bio.site) is correct when the bio only sends people to YouTube, a waitlist, or a newsletter. The metric is clicks. Checkout happens somewhere else, or not at all.
A store-in-bio is correct when the bio must sell a file, course, or session. An extra hop to Gumroad or Shopify is where Instagram webview traffic drops. Search demand still says “link in bio store” and “link-in-bio shop”; the product is a shop, not a list.
02
What a store-in-bio adds
Pricing, mobile checkout, on-page file delivery, a library link for return visits, and analytics for sales — not only clicks. On Adfluence every product type uses the same editor. Delivery fields change; title, price, and media do not.
Stores live at adfl.to/@yourhandle. Custom domains are not available. Twenty templates with accessible contrast. A Canva PNG can be the background.
03
Linktree alternative for selling
Linktree’s commerce features are a bolt-on with plan-dependent fees. If the job of the bio is to take payment, a store-in-bio is the shorter path: one page, your Stripe or Razorpay account, delivery on success.
Keep Linktree if you only route. Switch when the top button is already a product. Compare details: /compare/linktree.

Stan, Beacons, and Gumroad
Stan Store is a store-in-bio with a monthly plan and no permanent free tier. Beacons mixes media kit, email, and commerce. Gumroad is a marketplace. Adfluence is storefront software: buyers pay you; Adfluence does not hold a balance. Memberships are not available.
